Configuration

SoundSwitch's settings are organized into seven tabs. Open the settings by right-clicking the system tray icon and selecting Settings, or by double-clicking the tray icon.

• Playback — Choose which audio output devices to cycle through and set the playback switch hotkey.
• Recording — Choose which audio input devices to cycle through and set the recording switch and mute hotkeys.
• Profiles — Create profiles that automatically switch your audio devices based on hotkeys, applications, and other triggers.
• App Rules — Route individual applications to specific audio devices without changing the system default.
• General — Control startup behavior, device cycling preferences, updates, language, and more.
• Notifications — Customize how SoundSwitch alerts you when devices change or your microphone is muted.
• Troubleshooting — Reset per-app audio routing, export logs, and import/export your configuration.
